The October update of the Xtremepush platform is now live, adding the ability to use custom fonts within the email builder, a shortened SMS Unsubscribe Link as well as smaller improvements to the journey builder and the Optimove integration.

Custom Email Fonts

Clients using the Xtremepush email builder now have the ability to use custom fonts as part of their campaigns.

To upload custom fonts navigate to Settings>Advanced>Fonts where you will have two options. A) Use the widely available Google Fonts or B) Add your own fonts.

We recommend that if using custom fonts you also select a fallback font option if the recipient’s email client does not support the custom font you wish to use.

Note: Users MUST own the licence to the font in order to use it. There are large fines in place if they do not have them in place.  Xtremepush cannot take responsibility for this.

Journey Builder: Set Picture Variant

Within the journey builder, you can now set a picture variant either by uploading an image or via a URL.

This will be particularly relevant to clients who also the Movable Ink dynamic image via the integration with the Xtremepush platform.

Shortened Unsubscribe Link (SMS)

In response to client requests, we have shortened the SMS Unsubcribe Link by removing the https// from the URL.

New Optimove Channel Added

Clients using the Optimove CRM system to orchestrate “track and trigger” campaigns should now select “ Xtremepush Triggered” from the available options.

Note: Clients currently using this channel should be aware that we have changed the name of the existing option from “In-App” to ‘Xtremepush Legacy”. Campaign performance will be unaffected by this change.
