U.S. Betting Giant Penn National Gaming chooses Xtremepush to Deliver Engagement Capabilities for Its Barstool Sportsbook Mobile App

Xtremepush is delighted to announce its partnership with Penn Interactive, a  wholly owned subsidiary of Penn National Gaming, Inc. (“Penn National”), that will result in Xtremepush delivering player engagement capabilities for Penn National’s Barstool Sportsbook mobile app. The Xtremepush platform enables Penn Interactive to deliver personalised, real-time messages that both enhance the player experience and drive conversions.

One of the most recognised names in the North American betting industry, Penn National operates 41 gaming facilities (casinos and racetracks) across the United States. Earlier this year, Penn National entered into a strategic partnership with Barstool Sports, whereby Barstool is exclusively promoting the Company’s land-based and online casinos and sports betting products, including the Barstool Sportsbook mobile app, to its national audience. Penn Interactive currently operates 16 retail sportsbooks at Penn National casinos in the U.S.

The Barstool Sportsbook app launched in Pennsylvania in September and has already proven very popular with fans and bettors. It was the most downloaded sports betting and sports app nationally during its initial launch weekend. The app is due to launch in Michigan in the coming weeks. 

The partnership with Xtremepush will enable Penn Interactive to understand and engage with users of the Barstool Sportsbook at an individual level, delivering the sort of world-class experiences that its customers have come to expect.
